The Beautiful Hill Station Town of Nagaland, Shamator the Brotherhood district observes the World Environment Day with the rest of the world, by planting saplings in all the offices and along the roadside led by the district administration, Police, NGOs and Village Guards. The saplings were distributed from the office of Deputy Commissioner and the plantation drive started from DC office to Nagaland Village Guard (NVG) Training Camp on 5th June 2026 at Shamator.
Thrundan Club Y. Anner village, Chessore, Huker, Shiponger, Kiutsukiur, Sangphur, Muleanger villages, Chessore Town and Thsotoku Town also took part in observing the World Environment Day by planting saplings at their respective jurisdiction.
