Additional Deputy Commissioner and Administrator, Tuensang Town Council (TTC) Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS has informed that various shopkeeper, business establishments, hotels, restaurants are not adhering to COVID - 19 appropriate practices like provision of hand washing facility /hand sanitizer, maintaining social distancing and wearing of mask by salesman and customers. Therefore an enforcement team has been constituted with the following members:
1. Yempnag Chang, Supervisor, TTC
2. Molodanchi Chang Assistant Supervisor TTC
3. Asola, Vice President CoC&I, Tuensang Town.
4. Elemmongko Chang, DB-II
5. Luyan Yimchunger, DB-II
The Team will ensure the strict compliance of COVID - 19 appropriate practice by imposing the fines detailed as under:
No hand washing facility /hand sanitizers - Penalty of first offence Rs. 500 and warning. Offence after one week of first offence - Sealing of the establishment with or without suspension of trade licence till facilities are provided.
No provision/mechanism to ensure the maintenance of queue and social distancing among the customers - penalty of Rs. 200/ every time the offence is committed.
Not wearing of mask by salesman, other staffs and customers concerned with particular shop, business establishment - Penalty of Rs. 100/every time the offence is committed.
