Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari had issued an order that COVID-19 cases increased in Nagaland.

For preventive measure imposed by Government to be strictly followed as a measure against community spread. As per the standing SOP order of the state Government use of face mask in the public places is mandatory.

In this regard the SDPO, Bhandari and officer in-charge PS Bhandari are directed to impose fine of Rs. 100 on any defaulters and submit the report weekly. 

All the social and religious gatherings included weddings and jubilee celebrations under Bhandari sub division should take prior permission from District Administration for active monitoring and enforcement of standing SOP. The church leaders and public leaders are directed to comply accordingly. 

It is also stated that school authorities are directed to strictly impose wearing of mask and social distancing of students. For any lapses the concerned authorities shall be liable to be prosecuted under section 51 of the National Disaster Act 2005. The officer's incharge are asked to visit schools to ensure adherence of SOP and also check all public transport including taxi passing through Bhandari must not carry above 50% passenger capacity.
