In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive cases in the neighboring districts and in the interest of public health and safety, ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang has issued the following orders for strict compliance by all concern:

1.      All weekly market within Jalukie Sub-Division shall not be allowed to open till further order. However, all the local vendors selling their local products during the weekly market are allowed to sell their products as usual by strictly maintaining the SOP laid down by the Government.

2.      All business establishments/shops are to compulsory keep hand wash facilities/hand sanitizer.

3.      All passenger vehicles are to ply with strict permissible limit on the number of passengers as per the guidelines and with strict SOP.

4.      All the GBs/Village Councils, Ward Chairmen and Colony Chairmen are to identify and strictly monitor persons coming from outside and ensure that they are self-isolated at least for 10 days if no Covid-19 negative test report is produce during arrival.

5.      Persons coming from outside the State has to compulsory report to the COVID  Control Room located at CHC, Jalukie or contact the Control Room through the following Mobile numbers (8732841972/9402728560).

6.      All the residents of Jalukie Sub-Division have been directed to observe Covid-19 appropriate behaviors including avoiding public places, compulsory wearing of face masks while going out in public places. All the village/ward authorities in addition to enforcement committees and police are directed to ensure compliance to Covid-19 appropriate behavior and other SOP in their respective jurisdiction.

Any person violating the order shall be penalised as per the provision of Section-51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act 2005 besides legal action under Section-188 of the IPC.
