Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mangkolemba, T. Lankonsen Tsanglao has informed to all villages under Mangkolemba Sub-Division that hunting of all kind has been outlawed under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972, and the killing of migratory birds such as the famed Amur Falcon passing through the sub-division will attract penal action.

Further, VCCs are directed to report incidences of such nature if occurred in their respective jurisdiction to the concerned department.
