Fully equipped ambulance service was launched at Zunheboto by the Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto Peter Lichamo on 2nd May, at Hezükhu Memorial District Hospital, with a dedicatory prayer programme.

In his address to the gathering which included, front line workers, public leaders and heads of departments, the Deputy Commissioner appealed to the department concerned to make use of the ambulance service with utmost sincerity, benefiting the general to the fullest and to yield blessings through it. He also expressed deepest appreciation to government for making the service possible at the district. He added that the Advisor, School Education, K.T. Sükhalu held credit for  the ambulance reaching the district at the earliest and thus, the district shall remain thankful always. The keys for the ambulance which was handed over by the deputy commissioner was jointly received by MS and CMO, Zunheboto.
