The Axis Bank Chunlikha Branch was inaugurated at Chunlikha on 10th July 2026 by the Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu, Japheth Woch, NCS as special guest.

In his inaugural speech, DC Tseminyu congratulate the Axis Bank for being the first amongst other Banks to established the bank branch in the rural areas of Chunlikha as well as in the District.

He urged the Axis Bank Team to impart financial literacy to the villagers and customers under Chunlikha Block and beyond. He further impressed upon the denizens of Chunlikha to create a congenial, receptive and peaceful environment towards the officials of the Bank.

The program was chaired by Ekonbeni Ovung, SE Wokha Branch, while the Cluster Head Axis Bank Ltd. Dimapur Cluster, Poujaulung spoke on behalf of the Bank. The vote of thanks was pronounced by Neiketoulo Norbert, Branch Head, Axis Bank Ltd. Chunlikha Branch.
