The Ayushman Bhava weekly Health Mela took place at Sotokur SC-HWC on the 24th of September 2023, with a special focus on Communicable Diseases as its theme.

The event was led by the Community Health Officer (CHO) of Sotokur, who spearheaded the screening of 22 beneficiaries for Malaria using RDT (Rapid Diagnostic Test) and conducted screenings for presumptive TB. During these screenings, 17 sputum samples were collected for further analysis.

In addition to these efforts, 17 children received vaccinations as part of Routine Immunization, contributing to their protection against preventable diseases. Furthermore, the CHO conducted check-ups for 2 ANC (Antenatal Care) cases, ensuring the health and well-being of expectant mothers.
