Bhandari sub-division conducted a week-long mass social work from 9th to 14th August 2021, in commemoration of 75th Independence Day.

The work carried out included cleaning up Government offices, institutions, official residences and respective colonies, clearing of drainage and filling up pot holes etc. Public leaders and the heads of offices were given in-charge in all the nine colonies to monitor the mass social work. The overall in-charge of the social work was SDO (C) Bhandari Sulanthung.
