The general public has been informed that the medical department under the aegis of National Health Mission will be organizing a Block Level Health Mela at Likya Community Hall, Wokha on April 30, i.e Saturday from 10:00 AM onwards.

The Health Mela is an initiative of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, to commemorate the celebration of 75 years of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (75 years of our country’s independence). Free health services such as general health check up, malaria, NCD and HIV screening, ANC, Ayushman Bharat PMJAY BIS drive, AYUSH, Eye, RBS, Dental etc. will be provided to beneficiaries.

Sensitization on various government health programmes/schemes will be carried out and free medicines will be distributed to the beneficiaries during the health mela.
