“As regards the total number of COVID-19 cases detected today, it is 37 cases- 26 in Kohima, 9 in Dimapur, 1 in Tuensang and 1 in Mon. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 9,615.
Out of the 9,615 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 8,683. The active cases are 786 and there have been 44 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 733 active cases are asymptomatic, 28 active cases are mild, 11 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 2 active cases are critical without oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilator.
Further, out of 9,615 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 4,091 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,691 cases of Returnees, 3,363 cases of Traced Contacts and 470 cases of Frontline Workers.
A total of 65,043 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 63,992 samples have been received. In addition, a total 34,656 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 34,649 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 4,872 samples have been tested.”
