The Full Text is as Follows:

“A total of ­79 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today - 23 in Kohima, 44 in Dimapur, 1 in Kiphire, 5 in Tuensang, 4 in Zunheboto and 2 in Mon. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 8,515.

Out of the 8,515 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 6,598. The active cases are 1,815 and there have been 24 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 1,727 active cases are asymptomatic, 66 active cases are mild, 16 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 2 active cases are severe on oxygen and 4 active cases are on ventilator.

Further, out of 8,515 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,771 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,631 cases of Returnees, 2,713 cases of Traced Contacts and 400 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 59,789 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 58,494 samples have been received. In addition, a total 32,561 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 32,525 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 3,477 samples have been tested”.
