The Full Text is as Follows:

“A total of 46 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today, out of 582 samples tested. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 3,851. Active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 3,851 positive cases, the total recoveries as on date are 2,908, the active cases are 925 and there are 8 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 915 active cases are asymptomatic, 9 active cases are mild and 1 active case is moderate.

Further, out of the 3,851 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 1,633 cases from Armed Forces, 1,244 cases from Returnees,278 cases of Frontline Workers and 696 cases of Traced Contacts.

A total of 37,516 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 35,991 samples have been received. On Truenat results for 22,753 samples have been received and through Rapid Antigen Test, 669 results have been received. The total number of samples for which results have been received till now are 59,413.

A total of 1,203 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
