The full text is as follows:
“Today 7 more people who have returned to Nagaland have been tested positive for COVID-19. The total active cases in the State now stand at 43. All the positive persons are being kept under medical observation at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and active surveillance is being carried out to prevent further spreading of the infection.
Till date a total of 2,576 samples have been tested. The results of 1,557 samples have been received, out of which 43 are positive as mentioned above. The results for 1,019 samples are awaited. A total of 4,057 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
Through the Truenat testing machines so far a total of 86 samples have been tested and 82 are negative. The results of 4 samples are awaited.
A total of 13,213 citizens have signed up in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland – Visitors App since 23rd March 2020 and in the last 14 days 2,404 persons have submitted their travel self declaration. At present 2,343 persons are being digitally monitored through the App.
A Special Train carrying about 1,600 stranded persons of Nagaland will be leaving Bengaluru, Karnataka on the 2nd of June 2020 for Dimapur. This train is expected to reach Dimapur on the 5th of June 2020.
Another Special Train which left Goa on 28th of May 2020 carrying about 435 stranded persons of Nagaland along with persons of other North Eastern States is expected to reach Lumding, Assam today late night. From Lumding the returnees bound for Nagaland will be brought by another train to Dimapur.
