A farewell programme for N Moa Aier, retiring Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland was held on 28th February 2022 at D-Block Panchayat Hall, Kohima. The programme was chaired by Ruokuovituo Khezhie, Joint CEO. Bible reading and invocation were delivered by Sivilhou Mor, Superintendent. A special number and a video recording of the retiring officer during his career were presented by IT Cell, CEO Office.
The Chief Electoral Officer, V. Shashank Shekhar, IAS expressed his good wishes to the retiring officer and shared his experiences of working with him. It was wonderful to see his diligence and good coordination abilities. Through his work, he was able to contribute to society, which is a real source of happiness. It is also a matter of gratitude that he is retiring in good health, and can continue to contribute to society. He also mentioned the important and positive role played by families in the contributions of government employees.
In his farewell speech, the retiring Additional Chief Electoral officer said that he has rendered more than 33 years of his service in the Election Department. He stressed that during his service, he had faced varied experiences and had worked wholeheartedly and diligently. He thanked his colleagues and also his family for their continuous support.
Short speeches were delivered by Awa Lorin, Deputy CEO, Alila Chang, Assistant CEO, and Kedolhourieno, Superintendent. The programme ended with a vote of thanks from Mhathung, Deputy CEO.
