A charitable ward at Zunheboto district hospital was inaugurated on 24th July 2021byZ Kasheto Yepthomi, contractor and former candidate from Ghaspani-1, the prime initiator of the goodwill gesture.
Round Table India trust and Association of 41clubs in India under one more breath charity project, donated hospital beds and equipment worth more than Rs. 40 lakh. The inauguration program for the same was held at District Hospital, Zunheboto which was attended by apex Sumi organizations, CMO Zunheboto, MS Zunheboto and others staff from the hospital.
Kasheto Yepthomi, the brain behind the aid was the guest of honour. The project was executed by 41'ER, Vice Chairman 41 India Area 5, Samir Jain, Delhi Amigos Round table 311 HT Pankaj Agarwal and Progressive Round Table 238 Guwahati, TR Nitesh Bharech.
Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto acknowledged 41 clubs of India and Round Table India Trust (Under one more breath project) for their generosity at the time of pandemic to District Hospital Zunheboto. He lauded Z Kasheto Yepthomi, who took keen interest in the project and he mentioned that Kasheto personally requested the project to be implemented at the district hospital. The DC highlighted on the plight of the district hospital and urged them to continue to help the district in the future from every possible means. He encouraged the doctors, nurses and medical staff on the importance of judiciously utilizing the equipment received. He urged the MS and his colleagues to maintain an inventory register to make sure that the equipment are put to good use.
TR Nitesh, Bharech Guwahati, highlighting on the project said that the vision of one more breath brought by 41 clubs in association with RTI, aims to provide 3000 beds in hospitals, oxygen concentrators etc. across the country and transforming unused ward spaces to useful care centres in Nagaland hospitals. He further requested the district hospital authorities that the goods be used for the benefit of the people.
Z.Kasheto Yepthomi, the guest of honour stated that 41 clubs of India and RTI is an NGO spread across India with offices in Chennai and Delhi and funding is purely private doing charitable works across India. He added that when he came across the news that Dimapur was blessed through the project, he requested his friends to implement the same in Zunheboto as the district has been deprived of certain privileges and added that being born and brought up from there, he always had a concern for the people of Zunheboto.
Yepthomi spoke on the importance of taking the vaccination and encouraged the gathering to have confidence in the doctors and nurses. He also reminded on the impending third wave and asked the gathering to stay prepared. He lauded the DC, CMO and staff, Sumi Hoho, Dr Aron, DIO and Dr Shikato who have been instrumental in bringing the project to the district
The program was chaired by SMO, Dr. K Shikato Sema, while Medical Superintendent, Dr. C. Yanpo Kithan, proposed the words of acknowledgement.
