National Nutrition Mission POSHAN MAAH 2020 closing ceremony held at CKS Hall Tuensang on 30th September 2020. Kumar Ramnikant IAS DC Tuensang was the special guest of the programme. 

The DC congratulated the Social welfare department and all the convergence departments for their effort in making the performance rank at top amongst the district of the state. National Nutrition Mission is of the most important national project and putting the same effort can achieve a lot in child and women health of the district, he said. POSHAN MAAH week exercise have been a commendable one and if the same team effort can be put for the entire year then we can eradicate the major health nutrition factors of our society he added. Social welfare department being a Nodal Department for the POSHAN Abhiyaan must strive continuously to maintain the top rank of the performance with continuous efforts so that our society will be benefitted, he also said.

P.H. Ramaikalo, SBP Tuensang also highlighted the entire exercise of the POSHAN MAAH month and also mentioned all the efforts of the team work of the convergence departments.

The Deputy Commissioner Tuensang Kumar Ramnikant IAS also gave away the prizes of the POSHAN MAAH online competitions. In Photography Adekhing Mongzar (first position), Sujemla(second) and Chimengkaiba Chang(third) were the winners respectively. For Painting L Mukom (first), Imtiyangla and Chongshen Kejong at second and third resapectively. For Slogan L Themsao (first position), Khumtila Sangtam at second and Maniu at third position.

Chotsase Sangtam DPO ICDS Tuensang addressed the welcome note in the programme while Thungpang District Coordinator closed the programme with vote of thanks.
