A computer lab, equipped with 10 computers and accessories, was inaugurated at Bautung Government Higher Secondary School (BGHSS) Longleng on August 22, 2023. The initiative was led by SP Longleng, Dr. Pritpal Kaur IPS, in collaboration with Apni Pathshala from CHRP Mumbai trust and the authorities of BGHSS Longleng school.

SP Longleng emphasized the dual nature of technology as a boon and bane, urging everyone to use it wisely for the benefit of society. She also raised awareness about cybercrimes and encouraged students to channel their efforts into hard work rather than engaging in substance abuse. She stressed that students are the backbone of society and should leverage technology along with diligence to drive progress and safety.

Principal Alumaran conveyed his gratitude and motivated the students to embrace learning. The program was chaired by T. Imti Sangtam, with Abeinu offering the invocation and Temjenkala Jamir concluding with the benediction.
