A coordination meeting of the Shamator District Disaster Management Committee was conducted concerning pre-monsoon preparedness on 11th May 2023 at Deputy Commissioner's Office Conference Hall, Shamator.

Chairing the program Deputy Commissioner, Shamator, Thuvisie Phoji briefed the members about pre-monsoon preparedness and to work as a team to handle any eventuality, more so, because Government employees are fewer in number being a new district.

DC called upon the government employees posted in the district to re-dedicate to give their best service to the people of the district. He also said that all the departments and employees are equally responsible to serve the people of the district and for the upliftment of the new district.

The meeting was attended by officials of various departments.
