Organised by CHC Tening under the aegis of Tening SDTF on COVID-19, an awareness program for shopkeepers, drivers and other stakeholders was held at GHS Auditorium Hall, Tening on 2nd August 2021.

ADC and Chairman SDTF Tening, Rhosietho Nguori in his keynote address lauded the members present in the program and stated that drivers and shopkeepers are high risk groups who are exposed more to the chances of Covid infection. Therefore, there is a need to get those high risk groups vaccinated and keep a regular check by undergoing Covid test regularly. He also said that they also need to ensure that they confirm to Covid appropriate behavior at all times. Keeping the needs in mind, he said that the program was arranged for the drivers, shopkeepers and other stakeholders.

MO, CHC Tening, Dr. Menangtongzuk spoke on various aspects of Covid-19 including vaccine hesitancy and need for Covid testing etc.

The program was chaired by Aduile, ANM while short sharing was delivered by executive secretary LBA (N) & member SDTF on COVID-19, Rev. Kitanwi.
