Custom hiring centre was inaugurated at Kiyezhe village, Kiphire by EAC Sitimi, Ihoilung Chuilo, NCS in presence of Dr. N Khumdemo Ezung, KVK Sr. Scientist and Lipichem DPO, LRD on 15th September 2023.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, Ihoilung  Chuilo said that though being an agrarian based society, we cannot sustain ourselves which is very alarming and appealed to the gathering to take up farming sincerely. He also added that the objective of aspiration programme is initiating various programmes and setting up centres so that the economy of the villagers are improved. Chuilo appealed to the gathering to take proper care of the machines and use it judiciously so that it becomes a model for the district.

Sharing on Profile of the project, Dr. Khumdemo Ezung, Sr. Scientist KVK appreciated the district administration for accepting the proposal and making the programme a success.

Others who spoke on the occasion were Lipichem DPO LRD, Setsiba AFA, DAO office, Seroba Sangtam HEA DHO office, Lakhum NEIDA & Shikako on behalf of the farmers.

The custom centre was implemented by Krish Vigyan Kendra & District Administration funded under aspirations NITI Aayog special grant.
