Tuensang District DBs Union Bifurcation programme was held at DC Conference Hall, Noklak on 04th November 2020.

Deputy Commissioner, Noklak Reny Wilfred, IAS in his speech stated that Dobashis are the custodian of customary law and are holding the values of the customs. DBs are the eyes and ears of the administration and also the strength in maintaining law and order in the district and state as well. 

He called upon the DBs of Tuensang and Noklak to work together as before and request them to form a forum, so that it will create an opportunity for co-ordination. Issues and problems are part of the administration and where DBs (also a Magistrate) play a vital role in solving the disputes basing on the customary laws, he added. He urged upon the DBs to be firm in giving opinion which is based on customary law. DC asked the DBs not to develop the habit of consuming alcohols and other intoxicating items and advised them to stay upright as custodian of customary law.

During the programme, PA to DC Tuensang S. Yanchu, District Hd.DB, Tuensang Chamhomong, Head DB Longkhim L.Tsalongse and Gr-I DB Shamator Reluthing also spoke and District Head DB Noklak S.Hangji extended the welcome address. 

The programme was chaired by Head DB Sadar Tuensang Hq M.Chingmak and Gr-I DB Noklak H.Longhen was the Secretary during the programme. DBs of Tuensang Hq presented a folk song and special song was presented by Longdon BYE.
