Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, has notified that, in pursuance of the letter received from the Finance Department Nagaland, Kohima, dated the 11th August 2026 regarding strengthening of outreach and promotion of social security schemes through India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) and the Department of Post. The DC informed all concerned Heads of Departments/Offices that the Department of Posts has introduced various affordable insurance and social security schemes, including the District Life Insurance Relief Programme (DLRP) and the Group Term Life Insurance Employee Plan for Employees (GTLIPR).

In this regard, the Department of Posts has requested all Departments of the Government of Nagaland to nominate a suitable One Department One Executive (ODE) to facilitate coordination, awareness generation and outreach activities relating to the aforesaid schemes.

Accordingly, all concerned Heads of Departments/Offices under Kiphire District are requested to nominate one suitable officer/officials as the One Department One Executive (ODE) from their respective Departments/Offices and forward the details of the nominated ODE to the Office of the Post Office, Kiphire for further necessary action and coordination. The nomination may be submitted in the format given along with Name of Department/Office, Name & Designation of ODE, Mobile Number and email ID.

The DC further informed to treat the matter on priority and submit the requisite details to the Post Office, Kiphire on or before 27th August 2026.
