The DC Kohima Gregory Thejawelie IAS has informed that additional land measuring 70.274 Acres only at Phriebagei, belonging to Kohima Villagers, Kohima district is required for acquisition/outright purchase for the establishment of Medical College at Kohima.

Therefore, in the exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9 (2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition Acquisition Act 1965, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima duly authorised by the State Government as competent authority notified that if any person/party has any claim/objection over the said area, the same may be submitted to the Office of Deputy Commissioner Kohima within 30 (thirty) days w.e.f the date of this notification as per schedule as follows: North :- Circular Road / Private; South :- Circular Road / Stream; East :- Gazie Rü and West :- Circular Road / Private.
