Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS has notified the following revised guidelines:-

PUBLIC PLACES

  1. Wearing of face cover is compulsory in all public places.
  2. Funeral/last rites related gatherings shall ensure social distancing and the maximum number of people allowed shall not be more than 20.
  3. Spitting in public places shall be punishable with fine.
  4. Minimum six feet distance from each other needs to be maintained at all times. Shopkeepers shall ensure that not more than 5 persons are present at a particular time.
  5. Persons above 65 years of age, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years shall stay at home except for health emergencies.

WORK PLACES

  1. Adequate stock of face covers shall be made available.
  2. Adequate gaps between shifts, staggering the lunch breaks of staff shall be ensured.
  3. Sufficient quantities of handwash and sanitizers shall be made available at all entry and exit points, common areas and work places.
  4. Frequent sanitization of entire work place, common facilities and all points which come into human contact e.g. door handles etc, shall be ensured including between shifts.
  5. Employees, both private and public, must use AarogyaSetu App. Bluetooth should be switched on at all times.
  6. Large physical meetings are banned.

DC Mon, further issued an order that the ban on movement of private vehicles except those permitted across the district (issued vide Order No.GA/DEV/COVID-19/2020/454 Mon, dated the 17th April, 2020) shall continue to remain in place.
