Due to COVID-19 positive cases detected among the frontliners in Phomching Town, as a part of required precautionary steps to mitigate the possible spread of COVD-19 for public health, public safety and public order and in the interest of public health, public safety and public order in Phomching Town and in the exercise of the powers conferred upon section 144 of the criminal procedure code 1973, the Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has prohibited movement of public within 1 (one) Km radius of the Phomching Town.

Deputy Commissioner has also informed order would come into force with immediate effect and shall remain in force till further order. Any one violating the foresaid order will be liable for punishment under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
