Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Razouvolie Dozo has informed all the compensated villages/persons/ groups along the proposed RoW ( Right of Way) of National Highway 29 from Kohima-Jasami that the compensated lands/ properties along the RoW are handed over to NHIDCL for construction of construction of 2-lane road.
All the Village Councils/Local authorities have been directed to inform all concerned to stop all or any activities detrimental to the ongoing road construction project like extraction of stones/ boulders and other materials along the RoW (Right of Way) are handed to NHIDCL for construction of 2-lane road.
The DC has further informed that all the village council/ Local authorities to inform all concerned to stop all or any activities detrimental to the ongoing road construction project like extraction of stone, boulders and other materials along the RoW (Right of Way) which is hampering the smooth execution of the road construction project. For which any defaulter shall liable for penal action for obstruction and interference of public work.
In another notification, the DC has informed all the Villages/ affected groups persons/ groups to remove the compensated building/ structures and other properties etc along the proposed RoW (Right of Way) on or before 15th March 2021 so that the road construction activities can commence unhindered.
According to the order from DC, in the event of failure to remove/ dismantle the compensated properties/ structures within in the stipulated time and the same shall be removed without any further notice or extension of time.
