In pursuance to the directive issued by the Home Department, NSDMA, Govt, of Nagaland vide Order NO.NSDMA-ER-COVID19- 301/2020(Part-II) Dated 31.01.2021, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following directives have been issued for strict implementation throughout Phek district with immediate effect up till 15th February, 2022;

1.      All the existing restrictions in the district for preventing the spread of COVID-19 as issued in the earlier orders, including those on social/ religious/ political/ sports/ academic/ cultural/ entertainment gatherings etc. shall continue.

2.      The offline/physical classes for students of Classes I to VIII is allowed from 15th February 2022 subject to parental consent of the student concerned, and further subject to the fulfillment of the conditions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be issued by the Home Department.

3.      The Board examinations for Class X and XII conducted physically/offline by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) shall be allowed as per the examination schedule to be decided by it in the month of March 2022 subject to the fulfillment of the conditions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be issued by the Home Department. Suitable arrangements should also be made for the students who are unable to appear for the examinations on account of being tested positive for COVID-19, or who are symptomatic.

 

Any person/group of persons acting in violation of the above directions, as well as all the other existing orders/SOPSs/guidelines, for preventing the spread of COVID-19, shall be liable to be prosecuted against under the relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides action under Section 188 of IPC and other legal provisions as applicable.
