As per the District Task Force (DTF) meeting held on 21 April, 2021, in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the district, the following guidelines are issued for strict compliance.
1. All colonies Chairman are directed to identify any person in their respective jurisdiction coming from outside the State and to report to DTF.
2. Mandatory of 10 (ten) days home self-isolation if any person is coming from outside State, if such person is without negative RT-PCR/True Nat/CBNAAT test report for COVID-19 (test done not earlier than 72 hours prior to entry into the State) is produced on arrival, or if the test result is awaited, or if the concerned has not completed COVID-19 vaccination.
3. Wearing of face mask is compulsory in the District. All residents of Phek district have been directed to strictly observe COVID-19 appropriate behavior.
4. Random and sample testing will continue in the district as per the directives of the Government.
5. Religious/academic/political or socio-cultural activities shall be permitted outside the containment zone but limited to 50% of the seating capacity or 200 persons only. However, such activities should have the approval of the DTF.
6. Taxi/Bus drivers and passengers should wear face mask properly and follow COVID-19 SOPs.

8. Any person coming from outside the State and after completion of 7 (seven) days of home self-isolation may opt for COVID-19 test, if the result is negative the person maybe released. Testing shall be done at the medical institution facility.

Any person violating this Order shall be penalised as per the provision of the Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 beside legal action under Section 188 of IPC.
