Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, NCS, in a circular has informed to all parents that Aadhaar has become a mandatory document to generate APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) and PEN (Permanent Education Number) for every student in UDISE.

The DC informed all parents who are yet to enroll their children for Aadhaar are instructed to do the enrollment so as to avoid difficulties in ensuring smooth implementation of Aadhaar-linked student records in schools.
