ATMA Chunlikha block, Tseminyu district conducted a demonstration on transplanting and seedling treatment of king chilli on 17th May 2022 at Kandinu village, 18th May 2022 at K.Station village, and 23rd May 2022 at Tsonsa village.

The ATMA Chunlikha block demonstrated the scientific cultivation of king chilli and the use of Trichoderma in treating the seedlings and also explained the importance of Trichoderma to the farmers.

The proper method like pit size, spacing, manuring, and mulching was taught to the farmers and the benefits of Trichoderma such as how it acts as a biofertilizer and an effective biocontrol agent in controlling or suppressing the pathogenic microorganism and controlling root rot disease, damping off, wilt, fruit rot, etc. were explained to the farmer.

The farmers were distributed with king chilli seedlings and Trichoderma viridie.
