Destination North East (Virtual) 2020 with focus State Nagaland under the theme “Emerging Delightful Destinations” was held on 29th September 2020 at NEC Secretariat, Shillong with Chief Minister of Nagaland and Advisor Tourism, Art & Culture, Government of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio and Khehovi Yepthomi as the Chief guest and Guest of honour respectively. 

Introducing the state of Nagaland by Miss Nagaland followed by Audio visual presentation on the tourist attractions of Nagaland. A short message was delivered by state icon and Olympian Archer, Chekrovolu Swuro. Tetseo sisters presented special number. 

Introduction to local entrepreneurs and virtual exhibition of handicrafts/ traditional fashion & local product by Jesmina (Handicrafts), Nagaland Honey Bee mission and Atheli Zimomi (Fashion Designer). 

Beimopha, IRS proposed vote of thanks. Other highlights of the program included dance and music by Sumi War dance, Cock dance & Folk Fusion by Abiogenensis.
