To discuss relating for vaccination of COVD for the Front Line Workers (FLWs) and Mission Indra Dhanush IMI 3.0 a meeting was convened with the members of the District Task Force for immunization at Deputy Commissioner Official chamber on 5th February 2021.
Dr. Khelito Zhimomi, District Immunization Officer, Wokha informed during the meeting that so far 1994 (One thousand nine hundred ninety four) frontline workers under Wokha district have already registered their names to get the vaccine. Zhimomi also informed that vaccination for the frontline workers will completed by the end of this month, for the success of the vaccination all the Health Care Centers and health care Units under Wokha district have been activated for administrating the vaccine.
The vaccination for the FLWs will kick start from 8th of February 2021 from 9:00Am onwards, on 8th Feb 2021 the following personnel’s namely Police (DEF & 7th NAP), Home Guards and Revenue staff will be vaccinated and on 9th Feb 2021 vaccinate will be administered at 7th NAP Hospital Bhandari and NEEPCO hospital Doyang. She also informed line departments who have not submitted the list/ name of employees are requested to submit the same latest by 7th February 2021 and also appealed to upload names only those persons who are willing to take the vaccine.
Dr. Khelito Zhimomi also highlighted to the members about the Mission Indra Dhanush IMI 3.0 which will commence from 22nd February 2021, the purpose of this mission is to increase full immunization coverage who have missed any kind of immunization (LODOR group -left outs/ drop outs & resistance) the targeted group for this mission are pregnant women’s and children from 0-2 years.
Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force for COVID-19, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha urged all concerned to extend support for the successful implementation of the vaccination.
