The District Level Enforcement Squad (DLES) lead by the team leader Roko EAC Longleng, Impung Chang SDPO Longleng, Albert AIE Excise department, Yingi President GB union Longleng and Dr. Longai Phom Nodal officer (NTCP) Longleng conducted surprise checking of all the shops located within the radius of 100 yards from Schools and educational institutions on 27th September 2021 in Longleng Town. 

The surprise checking was conducted basing on Section 4 of COTPA Act 2003 and as decided at the first meeting of the DLCC & DTCC Longleng on 8th Sept. 2021 at DC conference hall.

The confiscated items includes cigarettes, gutka and other tobacco products were seized and brought to DC office premise and later burnt in the presence of the district administration, Police, Excise & Medical department and GB union Longleng.
