Lithrila Sangtam, EAC Aboi has notified on SOP issued by DC Mon on 14th July 2020 which will be enforced under Aboi subdivision till further orders. All village councils under Aboi and Longching circle shall issue movement tokens (maximum 4 (four days) for those who will be coming to Aboi town on foot for genuine reasons. All other vehicular movement to Mon town/Aboi town shall be permitted only after obtaining necessary permit from the Aboi COVID-19 control room No. 9862552689/ 8730939105/ 8119961352. Only two vehicles per village duly authorized by village council and after obtaining the required vehicle pass from control room will be permitted entry into Aboi town for procuring of essential commodities only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All villages under Aboi subdivision procuring their essential commodities from Mon town/from Assam traders are to strictly follow SOP issued by DC Mon.

For private individuals and shops who desiring to procure essential commodities on their own at Aboi town, prior approval should be obtained from administration Aboi. Wearing of mask is compulsory in public places, in workplace and during transport. A fine of Rs.100 will be imposed for violation. All shops to install hand washing units/hand sanitizers outside their shops and to enforce strict social distancing outside their own shop. Barricade restricting entry of public inside the shop is to be setup by all shop owners. Violation will lead to closure of that shop for the day. All shop owners will sell goods to customers only upon producing the household movement permit issued by district administration. All shop owners/salesmen are to compulsorily wear mask, hand gloves and selling of tobacco, gutka and other tobacco products is strictly banned.

Defaulters will be penalised as per relevant section if the law. Hair cutting saloon and beauty parlor, hotel & dine in restaurants will remain closed but home delivery is permitted with only 50% staff permitted to work at any time. All shops in Aboi town will remain open from Monday to  Saturday at 9 am to 2 pm. Large gathering for social, religious, cultural and academic purposed will continue to remain prohibit. Not more than 20 people at a time will be permitted incase of funerals. Any person violating these measures will be liable to be prosecuted as per provisions of the section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other legal provisions as applicable.
