Expenditure Observer held a meeting with all the intending candidates for bye election to 14 Southern Angami- I on 21st October 2020 at DC Conference Hall Kohima.

Briefing on the importance of keeping a proper expenditure record, Observer SK Pradhan requested the candidates to maintain evidences to support expenses in order to have a clear accounting process.

A, IAS while interacting with the intending candidates informed that there are a total number of 22 Polling stations and a total number of 13,641 electors and the Poll will be taken between the hours of 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM on 3rd November (Tuesday) 2020. He also requested the attendees to sensitize the citizens that all Covid 19 related guidelines such as maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks, hand wash or sanitizer will be mandatory during the Public gatherings or rallies. He sought full co-operation from all the Candidates for the successful, free, fair, safe and peaceful conduct of election. He also informed that 2nd randomization of EVM and VVPAT will be conducted on 26th October 2020 and requested all the political party representatives for Bye election to 14 Southern Angami- I AC to attend the same.
