The Department of Health & Family Welfare bade farewell to outgoing officers, Dr. Kechongol Sophie Addl Director, and Dr. Vinotsole Khamo Joint Director on 30th September 2022 at IDSP Conference Hall, DHFW.

Principal Director Dr. K Vikato Kinimi in his speech applauded the outgoing officers for the service rendered with great dedication and congratulated them on a happy retirement in good health. He wished the officers for happy retirement life on behalf of the department.

Outgoing officer Dr. Kechongol Sophie in his speech mentioned that one should avoid committing mistakes by skipping experience as an officer and overcome laziness to perform duties so that while retiring you will be satisfied and fulfilled. He reminiscences his experience in the department with profound memories and stated that it was all possible because of the love and support from the department.

Dr. Vinotsole Khamo, Joint Director also encouraged the officers in his farewell speech that one should always remember that Doctors are given a very special job, the only career where the profession never retires therefore, it is only necessary to look forward to the achievements and whatever Doctors can contribute towards the society.

The programme was chaired by Dr. Temjentsungla, Director DHFW, and invocation prayer was enunciated by Khele Thorie, Deputy Director Pharmacy.
