FINES TO BE IMPOSED FOR DEFYING ORDER AT NOKLAK

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Noklak M. Chaitanya Prasad, IAS in an order has stated that, as per the provision given under Section 188 IPC, Sec 3 of Epidemic Disease Act 1977 and the Disaster Management Act 2005, any person found defying the order in this regard for public safety. This includes compulsory wearing of mask and maintaining social distance shall be impose with a fine of Rs. 200 (Two hundred) only in the first instance with warning and Rs. 500 (Five hundred) only in the second instance or imprisonment. 

Further, ADC mentioned that, the police personal and DBs on Town duty is empowered to execute the order with effect from the 30th May 2020.
