A three-month-long free Archery Coaching Camp for Girls of Phek District concluded at GHSS Boy’s Hostel, Chozuba on 16th July 2022. The camp was organized and sponsored by the District Administration and DLCW-Mahila Shakti Kendra (BBBP) in collaboration with Chakhesang Archery Association with Chekrovolu Swuro, Hunezo Thisa, and Khosazo Thisa as the coaches.  

Altogether, 42 girls were enrolled and 29 participants had completed the course. Free lodging and food were provided to the participants. Sports equipment were provided by District Administration. CHC Chozuba, GHSS Chozuba, Churches, and various NGOs also assisted financially and in kind.

The closing ceremony was graced by Deputy Commissioner Phek, Razouvolie Dozo, NCS, and Superintendent of Police Phek, Vesupra Kezo, NPS. EAC Chozuba, Obangnener Jamir chaired the programme while Hunezo Thisa, Nagaland Archery Coach delivered the introductory note, and a vote of thanks was given by Principal GHSS Chozuba, Sedukholu Thisa. The Free Archery Coaching Camp was declared open by Dr. Chotisuh Sazo on 26th April 2022.
