The Home Department has notified the list of police personnel from Nagaland who have been conferred the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) on the occasion of Republic Day, 2026, as uploaded on the Ministry of Home Affairs website.

1.     The President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) has been awarded to Ben Longkumer, Commandant, Nagaland

2.      Police Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM) has been awarded to the following:

a.      Lanuchuba Longchar, Assistant Commandant, Nagaland

b.     Mepu Konyak, Inspector/ARMR, Nagaland

c.      I Akaho Sumi, Havildar, Nagaland

(DIPR)
