The Indian Independence Day was celebrated at the SDO (Civil) Office premises in Jakhama. EAC Kezocha, Molosangla Ozukum, hoisted the National Flag and delivered the Independence Day speech. She also received the Rashtriya salute from OC Khuzama Police Station, led by Havildar Kikrosal Vitsu. The National Anthem was sung by students from Government High School Jakhama. The event was attended by heads of offices, staff, public leaders, and Dobashis.
