The 12th Inter Departmental Tournament 2026, organised by Officers’ Club Mon Concluded on 21st March 2026 at Officer’s Club, Mon, with Superintendent of Police, Mon, Kanchan Kumar Kanpal as the special guest.
While addressing the gathering the Special Guest extended his gratitude to the organising committee, and stated that by organising such a tournament, we feel a sense of oneness, and memorable event to cherish. He also assured that the Police department will support in whatever way they can in organising such a tournament in the future.   
The overall winner was lifted by DEF Mon with DEO Mon bagging the Runner up. The winners of different games and categories are:  Badminton Men single - L Lokshem from DEF and Chemkhah Y Konyak from 6th NAP, while in Women’s Single - YAom B Konyak from Youth Resources and Function from Dist. Administration were declared the winners respectively. In the Mixed Double - Lima Pongen & Ngonlem from H&FW and Wakem & Thronlem from DEO, while in Men Double - Chemkhah Y Konyak & M Samuel Yim from 6th NAP and M. Elang Konyak & Sangyumong Ao from 6th NAP bagged the 1st and 2nd places respectively.
In Carrom Women’s Single- Liyuhfrom DEF Mon and Meilem from H&FW, while in Men’s Single- K. Wanghrong from DIET and P. Hongjai Konyak from NFES were declared the winners. In Women’s Double- Yeihying & Leye from DEF and Nepe & Liyuh from DEF Mon, and in Men’s Double- Yanao & K Poman from DEF Mon and M Khongwang Konyak & Manyok L Konyak from Power Deptt were placed in the 1st and 2nd positions. 
In Futsal, the DEO Mon bagged the winner and DEF Mon Runner up. In the individual Categories, the Golden Ball was awarded to Themrieh from DEO, Golden Boot to L. Akai Konyak from DEO and Golden Gloves to Atzing from DEF.
The programme was chaired by Rongsennungla Pongen, Asst. Professor, Wangkhao Government College, and the invocation was pronounced by Lipok Pongen, Pastor, Mon Town Ao Baptist Church. Special Number by Yangman Lukhim and a dance performed by The Humble were the highlights of the program. Vote of thanks was delivered by Ajit Kumar, IAS SDO (C) Mon & Member Secretary.
