Advisor to the Chief Minister and Chairman IDAN, Abu Metha, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Governor Thiru La. Ganesan, describing his passing as an "irreparable loss to the nation" and to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In a heartfelt message, Metha recalled his close association with the late Governor during his tenure at the Raj Bhavan in Kohima. “Over the years, we developed a warm and positive relationship, marked by mutual respect and trust,” he stated.

Metha fondly remembered their interactions, which ranged from discussions on culture, art, sport, and development, to collaborative efforts on major programmes and events in Nagaland. “From early morning breakfasts to musical evenings and dedicatory services, each occasion was enriched by his presence and wisdom,” he added.

Describing Governor La. Ganesan as a “fine gentleman - dignified, charming, hospitable, and kind,” Metha praised his sincerity and genuine concern for people. “His support, encouragement, and blessings will always remain a source of inspiration to me,” he noted.

Conveying his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, Metha said, “We join in prayer for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.”
