District Level Civil Defence Mock Drill under the Code Name "Operation Night Guard" was successfully Conducted at Tuensang Town on 30th April 2026. The objective of the Drill was to assist, co-ordination, preparedness and response capabilities from Air Raids.
The Mock exercise commenced with the Siren at 6:30 PM where Total Black Out was observed for 15 Minutes, followed by the activation of IRS and briefing led by the Responsible Officer, Search and Rescue Operation team involving personal from Home Guard and Civil Defence and Fire & Emergency service was despatch to the incident site.
The incident site was located at DC Office, Tuensang, while the staging area was done at Parade Ground Tuensang, where Emergency Communication, Control Room, Field Hospital was activated.
The exercises were activated and participated from the personnel of District Administration, Home Guard and Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency Services, Medical, IPR, DEF, warden and volunteers from wards and NCC from GHSS Tuensang.
