The district administration successfully conducted a stakeholder consultation on Viksit Nagaland @2047 at the DPDB Hall, Kiphire bringing together voices from government departments, civil society, NGOs, and the private sector on 16th April 2026. Deputy Commissioner, Temsuwati Longkumer outlined the vision, emphasizing inclusive and future-ready development.

            The session was moderated by Takatemjen Pongen featuring a sectoral presentation made by Er. Heoka Sumi, focusing on key pillars such as economy, society, environment, infrastructure, and governance. Participants also engaged in group discussions, identifying achievements, gaps, and priorities, especially for remote communities.

            The consultation concluded with a plenary sharing of recommendations and an open forum marking the event as a meaningful step toward shaping a progressive and united future of the district under the Viksit Nagaland 2047 vision.
