Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, has issued an advertisement received from the Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) and the Nagaland Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM) on Government-sponsored Skill Development Training Programmes for wide publicity in the district.
According to the advertisement issued by NSEDM-IDAN, various skill development courses will commence from June 2026, aimed at enhancing employability and entrepreneurship opportunities for the youth of Nagaland.
The courses offered include Graphic Designing, Full Stack Web Development, Full Stack App Development, Building Interactive Worlds with No-Code AR/VR, Certificate Course in Audio & Video Editing, Social Media Management, Industrial Welder (Oil & Gas), RORT Solar Installer (Oil & Gas), Accountancy, GST and Data Analytics.
The duration of the programmes ranges from one to three months and will be conducted at Kohima, Dimapur and Guwahati. Residential facilities with free accommodation and meals will be provided for selected courses. The Industrial Welder and RORT Solar Installer courses also offer 100 percent placement assistance upon successful completion.
Eligibility criteria vary according to the course and include Class 10 and Class 12 pass qualifications, along with basic computer knowledge and programming concepts for selected programmes. The training opportunities are open only to indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland.
A refundable registration fee of ₹1,000 will be charged for selected courses and will be refunded upon successful completion of the training and requested all concerned officers and stakeholders to disseminate the information widely so that eligible youths can avail themselves of the training opportunities.
