The Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Noklak, P. Mono Khiamniungan has issued a notification dated 13th July 2026 informing that the Election Commission of India has directed to conduct the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) based on the order and guidelines issued on 24th June, 2025 subject to the additions/modification contained in the letter.
The schedule of Special Intensive Revision in Nagaland:
1. Qualifying date of Special Intensive Revision on 01.10.2026
2. Preparation, Training & Printing on 05.08.2026 to 14.08.2026
3. House to House visits by BLOs on 16.08.2026 to 14.09.2026
4. Rationalization of Polling Stations By 14.09.2026
5. Publication of Draft Electoral Roll on 20.09.2026
6. Period of filing Claims & Objections on 20.09.2026 to 20.10.2026
7. Notice Phase/Disposal of Claims & Objections on 20.09.2026 to 18.11.2026
8. Publication of Final Electoral Roll on 22.11.2026
Further, the DC also informed to ensured that all activities of the Special Intensive Revision are carried out and completed as per the given timeline.
