Monthly District Planning & Development Board meeting of kiphire was held on 15th March 2025 with DC Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer chairing the meeting.

Implementation plan for 'Shiksha Sathi (Education Companion) Initiative was launched with an objective to improve academic performance, conference, and retention of underprivileged girl students in Kiphire district, by pairing them with academically strong students for peer learning, and mentorship

Members also deliberated on a proposal for collaboration with the District Skills Development Committee for the benefit of college students. In this regard, Principal, Zisaji Presidency College has been directed to organise a seminar with the concerned departments.

Reviewing the last meeting minutes, the board members discussed the proposal for construction of Amahator EAC office building, and decided to forward to the higher authority for final approval.

During the meeting, DC Kiphire also gave away the prizes to winners of the 3rd Inter-departmental Sports Meet 2025 organised by the Officers’ Club, Kiphire.
