Home Commissioner Anoop Khinchi IAS, in an official release has directed all officers and staff of departments located around the vicinity of Nagaland Secretariat Complex to compulsorily attend the Independence Day celebration at the Civil Secretariat Plaza at 9:00 A.M. on 15th August 2025 wherein the attendance sheet shall be submitted to the Home Department for further necessary action.
The Departments include : 1. DUDA 2. Economics & Statistics 3 Health & Family Welfare. 4. Higher Education 5. Technical Education 6. Information & Public Relations 7. Land Resource 8. PHED 9. Rural Development 10. Sericulture 11. Social Welfare 12. Treasuries & Accounts 13. Urban Development 14. Veterinary & Animal Husbandry 15. New & Renewable Energy 16. Municipal Affairs 17. Information & Technology 18 Science & Technology 19. Horticulture 20. Home Guards & Civil Defence 1. Agriculture 22. Motor Vehicles 23. Labour 24. Fire & Emergency 25. SIRD 26. IDAN 27. NEPED 28. GIS 29. NSDMA.
Further all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have also been directed to issue instructions to all officers and staff of all departments under their respective jurisdiction to attend the Independence Day celebrations on 15th August 2025. The attendance sheet shall be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner for onward submission to the Home Department for further necessary action.
All the concerned Head of Departments have also been directed to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff present in the function and submit the attendance sheet to the office of the Home Commissioner, Nagaland.
