The District Administration, Chessore Town Students’ Union, Chessore Town Public Forum and Police jointly conducted a surprise checking at Chessore town, Shamator on 17th October 2024 and seized expired goods from the shops.
The joint team has warned the defaulters not to repeat the same in the near future and to keep their shops updated. The team also notified to all the business establishment of Chessore town not to sell any expired goods, banned items and other illegal goods from the shops/homes within the town. The joint team further informed that it will not tolerate any illegal trade and the defaulter will be deal seriously according to the appropriate section of law. The joint team also appeal to the responsible citizens of the town to be well aware and inform the District Administration or the town based NGOs regarding any illegal means of trade for the wellbeing of the citizens of the town.
